Dear DCITP Family,
We hope that you are enjoying the holiday season. As we embark on a new year, we have many plans and hopes for 2026.

Camp enrollment so far has been superb and we are ensuring we have the top quality staff for a fantastic summer. Luckily over 90% of our staff come back every summer!

Our main focus now is to add a few talented people to our wonderful returning counselors and specialists. We will also be completing numerous improvements this offseason as well in our facility – new cabin roofs, new gymnasium walls, new ceiling fans for our cafeteria, newly painted boomball area, a renovated and expanded garden center, new water fountain, a new obstacle course to add to our unmatched waterpark, and more!

As we prepare for our 47th season, our goal has never wavered to provide a fun-filled safe haven for our campers to learn new skills, make new friends, and be happy.

We wish a healthy and Happy New Year to all of you and your loved ones!

We are very excited for our 2026 camp season. We are busy improving our infrastructure (including our buildings, and waterpark) and overall camp facility.
But, this time of year gives us the chance to thank you, our wonderful parents, children, and staff that we are privileged to serve and work with during the summer season.

After scheduling a private tour of our 500+ acres of pristine Harriman State Park campgrounds, waterfront, and wildlife, it’ll be easy to see how Day Camp in the Park has become a campers’ paradise for almost 50 years, for children of all ages. Add in our gymanastics center, six professional ballfields and courts, an arcade, and our full-sized inflatable water park + heated in ground pool, and we easily bring over 200 types of activities a day spanning athletics, the arts, STEM, and exploration of our beautiful natural home!

Day Camp in the Park is happy to share that there is still a week remaining in our Early Bird registration period.

If you sign up now during Early Bird, you save $500 per camper off the tuition fee for Summer 2026! If you haven't signed up as an Early Bird family yet, discounted signups do not end until September 30 - but that's quickly approaching!

The first Monday after we've said goodbye for the summer always feels a bit strange. We're full of sweet memories, full of sadness, and entirely overflowing with gratitude for our campers, for our staff, and for you - But it's also the first day we're back in business getting ready for the following year!

Day Camp in the Park is now accepting tours for Summer, 2026! And we are happy to announce the return of our referral program; if you refer a new parent to join our family for next year, you will both receive a credit towards your campers' tuition! And yes, that does stack with your Early Bird discount 😏 Check out dcitp.com/enroll-or-tour to learn more.
