Day Camp In The Park is situated on Lake Tiorati, off Exit 16 of the Palisades Parkway
on a magnificent 500+ acre nature preserve, with our own four-mile pristine lake.
with swimming, boating, fishing, and an inflatable waterpark filled with slides, obstacle courses,
a water trampoline, and more!

Day Camp In The Park has been honored nationally by the American Camp Association,
including the Pioneer In Camping Award, the Special Recognition Award,
along with creating the first Master’s program in Camp Leadership & Administration for Camp Directors for the A.C.A.

connection, understanding, and respect for the natural world.

Amongst our many STEM activities, athletics, and creative
endeavors, exploring our surroundings are a critical
function in the day of a DCITP camper.
​
This includes hiking, swimming by the basins of waterfalls,
crafts made from nature, exploring Lake Tiorati, and so much more!
We offer swimming in our in-ground heated pool, along with a traditional, creative, and well-rounded program including: Tennis, Nature, Soccer, Arts & Crafts, Archery, Gymnastics, Ceramics, Basketball, Theater, Climbing Wall, Music, Martial Arts, Dance, Gagaball and many more all taught by adult professionals. Daily Swim Instruction is provided by certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructors in either our heated pool or majestic lake!

Every day at DCITP is a special event including Camp Carnival, Campfire S’mores Fridays, Costume Day, Camp Play, plus many more! Our Nursery Program is for our four and five-year old campers entering Pre-K and Kindergarten.
There is one counselor per two children in this program. The C.I.T. Program (entering 9th & 10th grade) is geared for the teenager who loves camp and wants to work in camp in the future. In addition to these wonderful experiences, we also offer an incredible Nature program for children who love hiking, collection of frogs & turtles, campfire building skills & much more!​
Our incredible facility includes over 20 indoor cabins including our Sports gym, Cafeteria, gymnastics center, dance center, and more. Our talented and mature staff includes camp professionals & certified teachers running each group! We have competitive pricing compared to other premium day camps that make our camp very attractive. A hot lunch program is available at a small fee. We include door-to-door transportation in air-conditioned minibuses Monday through Friday.
